The Challenge
To implement a highly scalable, comprehensive sustainability platform that is compliant with Hong Kong exchanges ESG regulations and other global standards.
Turnkeys reporting is mapped with multiple frameworks and ESG regulatory of 96 stock exchanges including the HKEX, so this was achievable.
Key drivers of Fung Group initiating the Turnkey platform are to a bring a new quality and more scalable solution into Fung Groups already established sustainability infrastructure.

The Turnkey Solution
Turnkey implemented a three-year sustainability plan with energy, waste and cost reduction as core targets.
Other important factors of said sustainability plan were to monitor big data fuel, energy and water consumption internally and within portfolio companies.
Using the Turnkey solution Fung Group will be able to receive reporting and analysis of the above allowing them to expand into ‘Scope 3’ to reduce all waste and energy consumption within the group and portfolio.
The Results
Turnkey completed an initial roll out of their sustainability solution in 2016, by 2017 the solution scaled to over 1000 suppliers within the Fung Group and their portfolio.
This has allowed Fung Group to strengthen their internal and external sustainability structure, offering transparency of ESG performances of the companies within their portfolio. Allowing them to manage and audit verified data throughout the supply chain.
They can now report data compatible with the Hong Kong stock exchange and other global standards.
Finally, they can offer correct & optimal valuations of the companies within their portfolios, mitigating risk and ultimately saving costs.
